The history of...Budějovický Brewery

Budějovický Brewery is located in Budweis, Czech Republic. The brewery is state-owned and gained worldwide attention due to a dispute with international heavyweight Anheuser-Bush over the use of the brand name Budweiser.

The two reached an agreement to alter their brand names in the domestic market of the opposing party. Although they both aim for consistent quality, these Budweisers are two very different animals.
