What's in store:

Brouwerij Van Steenberge

This East Flanders brewery dates back to 1748. Its popular strong golden ale Piraat is slightly sweet and warm with a full head, while the Piraat Tripel Hop combines four hops (Saaz, Tetra and Aurore, with Cascade added for dryhopping) to create a complex yet perfectly balanced character.

Brouwerij Dilewyns

Founder Vincent Dilewyns set up the brewery in 1999 after spending time experimenting with different yeasts, malts and hops. The Vicaris Tripel was the first of his beers to be developed, followed by Vicaris Generaal, a strong dark ale. Vincent still runs the brewery today, with help from his daughters.

Brouwerij De Brabandere

The De Brabandere family consider their beer their heritage. The brewery has been passed down through five generations, and today it mixes authenticity with innovation to create a variety of unique flavours. Check out the Petrus Blond and Petrus Rood Bruin, a classic sour beer from Flanders.

Brasserie Dubuisson Frères

At almost 250 years old, Brasserie Dubuisson Frères is one of the oldest and most authentic Belgian Family Brewers. It produces 100% natural beers without artificial additives and is entirely independent. Its Bush Amber is full of sweet caramel and malt tones - and packs a punch at 12% ABV.

Brasserie de Brunehaut

Priding itself on the “alliance of modernity and tradition”, this artisanal brewer uses wholly natural brewing methods for top fermented beers. As a result, the Brunehaut Blond and Brunehaut Amber ales are organic, gluten-free and vegan.

Alken-Maes

Alken-Maes Brewery was founded in 1988 following the merger of Maes and Cristal-Alken, two small Belgian breweries. Try out the refreshing Ciney Blond, or for a sweeter caramel and honey flavour, Ciney Brown is a perfect brown ale option.

Brouwerij De Halve Maan

This Bruges-based brewery is the last active brewer in the city centre. It’s also the birthplace of the last authentic Bruges tripel, Straffe Hendrik - a golden beer with a sturdy white head, spicy scent and fruity flavours.

St. Bernardus

The St. Bernardus Brewery in Watou, West Flanders has been brewing dark and blond abbey-style ales since 1946. Made with hops from its own hopfield right next to the brewery, the St. Bernardus White is a great example of a citrusy, thirst-quenching Belgian witbier.

Brouwerij Het Anker

This family business has been brewing beer for five generations in the Groot Begijnhof in Mechelen. Its Gouden Carolus Tripel is not to be missed - in 2010 it won Gold in the European Beer Star and in 2012, it was crowned the World’s Best Belgian-Style Tripel. It’s quite sweet with notes of citrus fruit and coriander.
