La Trappe / De Koningshoeven

The Abbey of Koningshoeven has been brewing her own trappist beer, La Trappe, since 1884. The beers of La Trappe have since become world famous, but they are still brewed under supervision of a monk from the abbey. The core of the beer has also remained identical: the water has always been supplied by a source owned by the abbey. Combine this with a plethora of secret ingredients and you'll understand why every La Trappe beer is unique.
