The history of...Brouwerij De Halve Maan

De Halve Maan Brewery is located in Bruges, Belgium. Founded in 1856 by Henri Maes, the brewery is now managed by its sixth generation of brewers.

Because production takes place at different locations, the brewery installed a pipeline under the city that connects the beer from the brewery to the bottling facilities at other locations, as well as a few bars. Crazy, but true.
