Leo Brand started the brewery Sint Christoffel in 1986 in Roermond, in a room behind his house. Within a few months he and his wife built a professional modern beer brewery.
With everyone talking about craftsmanship these days, Christoffel followed those principles since inception. The beer is brewed with pure and only the best raw materials. Brand was far ahead of his time in this. He still does not want to hear anything about chemical additives such as preservatives or colours and flavours. Simply: Beer must be beer. An easy and characteristic beer that tastes even better at the third glass than the first one.
