The history of...Braukunstkeller
Braukunstkeller is brewed by Alexander Himburg. As one of the pioneers of German craft beer culture, Himburg has always had a preference for the hoppy side of beer.
He brewed his first beers in a small brewery in Michelstadt and his beers are named after the hops used in his recipes.
Himburg previously worked with other breweries such as Weldebräu. During this period he used unusual ingredients such as pepper. Luckily Himburg still has a penchant for the unusual.
