The history of...Brouwerij Maximus

Maximus beers are brewed by the Maximus Brewery in Utrecht, the Netherlands. This ambitious and socially-responsible brewery was founded in 2011. They use steam and traditional copper installations for brewing, which can be viewed from their taproom.

Maximus doesn’t just brew to make a profit. The brewery offers work experience placements to people who are struggling to find employment. These people gain experience above the brewing kettle and behind the bar that they can later use to find paid employment. Who knew brewing could change the world?
