The Alken-Maes Brewery is located in Alken, Belgium. The brewery was founded in 1988 by Roger Demarche, as the result of a merger between two small breweries: Maes in Kontich-Waarloos and Cristal-Alken in Alken. At Alken-Maes they like to take matters into their own hands. The beer is bottled on-site and the brewery serves as the central distribution point.
