Budelse Brouwerij
Budels is brewed by the Budelse Brewery, located in Budel, the Netherlands. The brewery was founded in 1870 under the name ‘De Hoop’. In 1922, they added carbonated drinks and fruit cordials to the production line, but thankfully continued doing what they do best and, in 1960, split the two divisions into separate production companies, the Budelse Brewery and Soft Drink Factory de Hoop. In spite of a general trend towards upscaling in the beer market, Budel has always kept its production relatively small in scale.
