Top 5 SUB Kegs
We bring you Beerwulf's favourite kegs of the week!
We love all the SUB Kegs we have in our assortment, like a proud parent, we think they are all great in their own way. However, sometimes you prefer certain flavours, strengths or styles to others. Enjoyment is built on so many factors, like a seasonal beer at Christmas, your first ice cold IPA of the summer or lagers at a festival with your friends. At Beerwulf we are no different, that's why we've created this list of our 5 must-have SUB Kegs of the moment!
With somewhat of a cult classic status, no list is complete without Heineken. The recipe, brewed since 1873, is testament to "if it aint broke, don't fix it'". It’s rich taste and subtle fruitiness makes it a perfect thirst quencher for the new sunnier weather.
This was the first IPA available in SUB Keg and it's just as good now as it was then. Tropical flavours of mango and pineapple are balanced by a sweet biscuit-like maltiness. It goes particuarly well with anything fried in breadcrumbs. Grab a cold one of these, some deep fried camembert, scampi or the classic scotch egg. It will feel just like a summer afternoon in your favourite pub garden.
Exotic aromas of tropical fruit, hops and mild bitterness make this an obvious choice. The low alcohol content, 3.5%, makes it very drinkable indeed. Have a couple of these with a light salad or white fish, the perfect way to spend a weekend!
This classic Belgian Blond is a firm favourite at Beerwulf. We love the spicy warmth! It's strong and fruity in flavour, perfect for right now, sipping on the sofa or enjoying on your patio with some good ripe cheese. Appreciate the joys of just sitting back and relaxing at home!
This 9.2% Imperial IPA is a full-bodied beer and like all good IPAs has a ton of hops. Dr. Raptor, famed for concocting the most outrageous brews has made no exception with this tropical and citrus fruit explosion. We recommend sipping this one fresh, although once you've got it, it will be hard not to drink. Not only is it one of our favourites but the Dutch Beer Challenge agrees too!
