Engelszell Gregorius

Quadrupel Beer | 10.5% | 33 cl
Gregorius Trappist Beer is a beer with a deep dark chestnut color. Flavors of chestnut, honey, licorice, mocha, cocoa, raisins, cherries and eucalyptus all contribute to the deep and rich flavor of this trappist beer. The Alsacian wine yeast and honey make a beautiful sweet and nutty flavor. When tasting, a flatter of vanilla remains with a little oregano. The light bitter aromas provide a deep and dry finish.

Stift Engelszell is the only Trappist monastery in Austria. The beers were named after two former abbots of the abbey. Gregory Eisvogel and Benno Stumpf. The International Association Trappist announced on October 15, 2012 that these beers may carry the logo "Authentic Trappist Product".
