This deep brown Trappist beer of high fermentation smells like licorice, anise and dried fruit. The taste of Achelse Kluis Beer Brown is soft on the tongue but has a powerful finish. The beer has a solid body, maltose, caramel, fruity (raisins, banana, figs), a pleasant hopbitter test and an alcohol percentage of 8%

Brouwerij De Achelse Kluis

The De Achelse Kluis Brewery is also known as the Saint Benedictus Abbey. The brewery is partially situated in Heeze-Leende, the Netherlands, and partially in Hamont-Achel, Belgium. Achel doesn’t just brew beer for its own benefit. The profits gained from brewing and the sale of other beers are used to support charities and the preservation of the Abbey.
